COMPOSITION

 DEPARMUNE® contains a combination of the FM strain of Duck Parvovirus and the LB strain of Derzsy Disease virus, in inactivated form, homogenised with oil adjuvant and thiomersal as a preservative.

INDICATIONS

DEPARMUNE® is recommended for the vaccination of Geese and Muscovy ducks against Derzsy Disease and Duck Parvovirosis.

ADMINISTRATION AND DOSAGE

DEPARMUNE® should be administered to ducklings or goslings from one day of age. A second injection should be given 2 to 3 weeks later.
In ducklings, the vaccine should be injected subcutaneously (under the skin of the neck) or intramuscularly (thigh muscles at day-old, and into the breast or thigh muscles in growing birds) at the dose of 0.2 ml per bird.
In goslings, the vaccine should be injected subcutaneously (under the skin of the neck) at the dose of 0.2 ml per bird.
Breeder geese can also be vaccinated: the vaccine should be injected subcutaneously (under the skin of the neck) 6 and 3 weeks before the onset of lay, at the dose of 0.4 ml per bird. Booster vaccination of breeder geese is recommended at every laying period 3 weeks before the expected onset of lay.

- Store vaccine between +2°C and +8°C or 35°F and 45°F
