Human-animal bond ​

​

In Hungary, nearly 40,000 people live with severe visual impairment or complete blindness, yet fewer than 200 guide dogs are available to support them.​

These animals provide not only physical assistance but also emotional support to their owners, making it crucial that as many visually impaired people as possible can benefit from their help in daily life. ​

Training a professional guide dog takes more than two years and requires significant financial resources. ​

We have been collaborating with the Baráthegyi Guide Dog School since 2022, supporting their work and contributing year after year through their puppy-raising program to help young dogs become fully trained guide dogs.

Thanks to our partnership, two visually impaired people are already supported in their daily lives by guide dogs, Íbisz and Zenit.

Animal welfare​

As a responsible company, we believe that animal welfare is just as much a part of caring for our community as supporting people. This is why every year we contribute to the work of several animal shelters.​

During our volunteer days, our colleagues personally take part in the shelters’ daily activities. These programs not only provide significant help to the shelters but also strengthen the sense of community within our team. ​

Beyond on-site work, we organize annual donation drives and provide product support to help animal shelters operate.

Thanks to these efforts, shelter staff can provide more stable and predictable care for the animals in their charge.

Supporting the Local Community​

We are a company with a history of over 110 years. Since the very beginning, we have been operating in Budapest’s 10th district, Kőbánya,  acting as a major employer in the area.

As a responsible company, we believe it is important to play an active social role not only in areas related to our core activities, but also within the community around us. In line with the One Health approach, we are proud to support local initiatives that promote both health and community values.

In Budapest​

We are proud to provide annual support for the youth development program of the Törekvés SE fencing division, a prominent local sports club in Kőbánya. Through our collaboration, numerous young athletes receive top-tier sports education every year.

In Monor​

Through mass sports, the message of a healthy lifestyle reaches more and more people. To support this, near our Monor site, we have proudly sponsored the two largest local running events for many years.
