The Central European Postgraduate Calf Disease Course was organized by the University of Veterinary Science and Ceva-Phylaxia in Budapest on the 23rd of November.
It was the first English language postgraduate course at the University.
The Central European vets participated in the course mainly from Hungary, Slovakia and Czech Republic, Romania, but from other European countries as well.
More than 100 participants had a practical updated knowledge about BVD from Giorgo Valla (University of Milan and Perugia&Ceva Italy). Prof. Walter Baumgartner (from the University Vienna) spoke about paratuberculosis, listeriosis and calf diarrhea. Prof László Ózsvári (from the University Budapest) presented BRD of economical impacts.
